"Stop Food Waste; End Hunger." Is it a pipe dream or a possibility? You've probably heard the biblical account of Jesus’ miracle feeding thousands of people with one boy's simple lunch. Two thousand years later, there are still hungry people that need a "miracle," and there is plenty of food out there. The Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank exists to connect them. It serves as a hub on Vancouver Island, to collect, sort, and distribute food that would otherwise go to waste, effectively "multiplying" the edible resources available. It's an honor to create material that gives a voice (and a meal) to people in need, and represents the dedicated staff and volunteers.

Because compassion is faith in action, and faith can move mountains... of food!
