Before the name PUTZI became a Canadian brand in 2019, it was a Swiss family name with a 600-year history. This identity project reflects both of these cultures, incorporating a blend of old and new, European and North American. Founder Ron Putzi, born in Vancouver, BC, played professional basketball in Europe, and later became a member of the Canadian National Team (FISU). He was inducted into the Basketball BC Hall of Fame in 2018. His eponymous brand is a vehicle to share his passion for life through sustainably-sourced Canadian-made products that make people happy.
