Graphic design is for me a language. It is a mode of expression that requires taking the time to appreciate its environment in order to choose the right “words”, to communicate an idea, an emotion, a message, to inform, educate, invite, engage and/or entertain. In that sense, I use graphic design as a tool, serving a cause, and not as a means to satisfy a purely aesthetic desire.
I’ve always had a special affinity for this mode of communication. Probably due to its universal practical application, fulfilling the spiritual desire that I have to serve and make a modest difference to the world I live in.
